Families can choose to enroll their
children in either the Full Time program or the School Day program. Full
Time students can be dropped off as early as 7:45 am and picked up as late as 6:00 pm. School
Day students attend from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
. For the 2008-09 school year, Full Time
tuition is $14,790 and School Day tuition is $12,890. Buen Dia does not have half day or
partial week programs.
Tuition can be paid in
one of the following ways:
1) One Payment Plan -
the entire tuition is paid in full no later than August 15 for a 2.5%
discount.
2) Monthly Payment Plan-
The tuition is divided into 10 equal monthly installments, due by the 1st
of each month, beginning with September and ending in June.
Fees
In addition to tuition, Buen Dia Family School has a Staff benefits fee of $400 to cover health insurance.
Every family is asked to
volunteer 24 hours/school year.
There are many opportunities that can accommodate a range of family
schedules. Families may pay $360 per
family in lieu of volunteer time.
Enrollment Deposit
Students enrolling for
the first time are required to send a $400 deposit to the school two weeks
after receiving letter of acceptance.
Returning students are required to send a $400 deposit to the school
by July 15. This deposit is credited
towards fees for the following year.
Extra Hours
Extra hours, before or
after the 9 to 3 School Day program, can be arranged with the directors or
head teachers, depending on availability.
The charge is $8/hour. Please
record student arrival and departure times on the attendance form.
Summer Program
The summer program is seven weeks long,
usually beginning the last week of June. The summer program primarily
serves current students and recent alumni.
In addition, we encourage new students who will be starting in the
fall to spend one or two weeks in the mornings to begin their transition
into preschool life. Enrollment is by the week.
